We had a great time at the race...the trek was a killer but the views made it amazing! Next year we may not bring play boats for the paddle but hey who doesn't need more of a challenge with the slowest boats in a race.

I just wanted to let you and all involved this past weekend know how impressed and happy our team was to see the professionalism and true grit that the Race the Rockies team showed through all the weekends events. During such a trying time everyone showed the utmost respect for Marty and his family as well as the racers still on the course. The top notch organization was evident throughout the weekend especially during the response to the accident. I was a fireman for 5 years and involved with Foothills Search and Rescue for a number of years and was involved in similar events many times but not once did I witness a rescue that was pulled off so fast especially in such a remote spot.
Again thanks for everything that you and your team have brought to the sport.

I wanted to send a quick note to thank you for the race last weekend. I know it didn't turn out quite as planned, but your race is still one that i look forward to every year. My condolences have gone out to the family and I will be looking forward to next year and hope that we can again experience the amazing views and challenging course that make Race the Rockies so epic.
